It’s just over 2 years since we unloaded ourselves and our city raised dogs and started building the farm life we wanted. We still have a long way to go but we are launching our Facebook page today, farmstand next weekend and the webpage is coming soon!

We will be starting out the farmstand next weekend with seedlings, primarily tomatoes but a few other options available too and will add more options as they start to mature. Diju Farms will be providing us with honey for sale as well. Rhubarb is only a couple weeks away and lettuce and radishes will be popping in soon too.

Since it wouldn’t be a launch without a big announcement, the star of today’s launch is Fleur! We received confirmation from the vet that our first attempt at AI was successful and we will be welcoming our first farm born calf December of 2021.

Garden prep is going well and we are getting lots of plants into the ground. Our best layers are still busy looking after their new flock so egg production is down but it’s definitely a worthwhile investment in the future.

Cathy at Blue Elephant Productions is helping us get our social media set up and functioning smoothly so when it works you can congratulate her team and when I break it, oops, sorry, that was definitely me!
